If you’re looking to escape the crowds, why not take part in a more relaxed racing experience and still not miss any of the action? There are ‘great days out’ to be experienced in the country on BMW Caulfield Cup Day (Avoca, Bendigo, Wodonga), Tattersall's Cox Plate Day (St Arnaud, Yarra Valley), AAMI Victoria Derby Day (Healesville, Mt Wycheproof, Traralgon), Emirates Melbourne Cup Day (Bairnsdale, Echuca, Mansfield, Mildura, Wangaratta) and Crown Oaks Day (Warrnambool, Pakenham).
There's at least one country race meeting on every day of the 50 days. In fact 79 meetings in all with over 20 country cups.
